Working with April Simpson and Tim Ezell was a great experience. To have sit down interview with them was very fun and I learned a lot! I filmed at the station for two days. The first day I went to KTVI I shot LOTS of B-Roll of April and I also interviewed her that day. I went right after school because she has a show at 4pm. The people at the station let me sit in on her show and film. After her 4pm show we went in a studio for the interview. The lighting was amazing!! The camera men gave me a few interviewing tips and then we began. April's interview was about 15 minutes long, she told me how working at Fox 2 was good because of the diversity. April also opened up about her brain tumor she was diagnosed with in 2010. On the second day of filming I shot b-roll of April and Tim and I interviewed Tim. He was very excited to be interviewed about April, because they are very close! Tim is a great guy and I was very fortunate to interview him. Once I got all my film I began editing. It was a lot easier to edit because April and Tim are used to being on camera, so they didn't stutter as much. Overall, I think this project is one of my better ones.
